Greeks are well known for their ability to enjoy life's pleasures. Most of the inhabitants are very relaxed and take their time to enjoy whatever they do. For visitors from other countries such as USA where everything is done quickly and with most efficiency, it takes a while to get used to the slow, relaxing pace of life in Athens and other parts of Greece. People linger over their drinks or food for hours, talking and laughing about the day's occurrences, their work, their families, etc.
